GLP shots have been studied for over 20 years and continue to be, and exciting research continues to emerge on retatrutide, an investigational once-weekly triple hormone receptor agonist (GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon).
Recent Phase 3 clinical trials have shown substantial average weight loss—up to approximately 28% in people with obesity and around 21–23% in those with type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular disease—along with improvements in blood sugar, lipids, and other metabolic markers.
